अथ कृत्वा महद्युद्धं यथा शक्त्यातिदारुणम् । हतभूयिष्ठशेषा ये भित्त्वा भूमिं गता अधः
atha kṛtvā mahadyuddhaṃ yathā śaktyātidāruṇam | hatabhūyiṣṭhaśeṣā ye bhittvā bhūmiṃ gatā adhaḥ
ثم بعد أن خاضوا حربًا عظيمة شديدة القسوة بقدر طاقتهم، فإن من بقي منهم—وقد قُتِل أكثر جيشهم—شقّوا الأرض ونزلوا إلى الأسفل.
