وآخرون، حين يسمعون الصيحاتِ الطويلةَ لطيورِ «چيريكا»، يظنّون أن الأشجارَ على منحدراتِه—وقد صرعتها أيدي الفيلة (خراطيمها)—كأنها تبكي نحيبًا.
