sthānesthāne mahānādā utsavāśca gṛhegṛhe | vedavidyāvinodāśca smṛti vādāstathaiva ca

في كل ناحية كانت تُسمَع أصواتٌ عظيمة للاحتفال، وفي كل بيتٍ أعيادٌ ومواسم. وكانت هناك لذّةٌ في علوم الفيدا، وكذلك مناظراتٌ قائمةٌ على السْمِرِتي.
