अपमानं कृतं तस्य मया कल्ये द्विजोत्तम । तेन मे सहसा व्याधिराशीर्वादमनिच्छतः
apamānaṃ kṛtaṃ tasya mayā kalye dvijottama | tena me sahasā vyādhirāśīrvādamanicchataḥ
«يا أرفعَ البراهمة، لقد أهنتُه بالأمس. فمن أجل ذلك أصابتني عِلّةٌ فجائية—مع أنه لم يكن يرغب في أن يمنح بركة.»
