Transliteration

tasya tadvacanaṃ śrutvā nirāśaḥ sa mahīpatiḥ | vairāgyaṃ paramaṃ gatvā maraṇe kṛtaniścayaḥ

Translation

فلما سمع الملكُ تلك الكلمات انقطع رجاؤه. ودخل في أسمى مراتب الزهد (ڤيراغيا)، وعزم على الموت عزمًا قاطعًا.
