lakṣāṣṭakapramāṇena tadyugaṃ parikīrtitam | catuḥṣaṣṭisahasrāṇi varṣāṇāṃ parisaṃ khyayā | kapiśo jāyate tatra bhagavāngaruḍadhvajaḥ
يُعلَنُ أنَّ ذلك العصرَ مقداره ثماني لَكْشات. وبالحساب التامّ يبلغ أربعًا وستين ألفَ سنة. وفي ذلك العصر يُولَدُ الربُّ المبارك، ذو الراية التي تحمل غارودا، بلونٍ أسمرَ مائلٍ إلى الصفرة كهيئة القِرْد.
