ततस्ते शस्त्रमुद्यम्य निर्जघ्नुस्तं क्रुधान्विताः । न शेकुस्ते यदा हंतुं संवृतं विष्णुतेजसा । कुण्ठतां सर्वशस्त्राणि गतानि विमलान्यपि
tataste śastramudyamya nirjaghnustaṃ krudhānvitāḥ | na śekuste yadā haṃtuṃ saṃvṛtaṃ viṣṇutejasā | kuṇṭhatāṃ sarvaśastrāṇi gatāni vimalānyapi
ثم رفعوا أسلحتهم في غضبٍ وضربوه؛ لكنهم لم يقدروا على قتله، إذ كان مُحاطًا بإشراق فيشنو. فكلُّ أسلحتهم—وإن كانت صافيةً حادّة—قد غدت كليلةً مُثلمة.
