सांबोऽपि प्रलपन्नार्तो निद्रां लेभे न वै द्विजाः । रात्रिशेषमभूत्तस्य तदा वर्षशतोपमम्
sāṃbo'pi pralapannārto nidrāṃ lebhe na vai dvijāḥ | rātriśeṣamabhūttasya tadā varṣaśatopamam
حتى سامبا، وهو ينوح من شدة الكرب، لم ينل نوماً، يا ذوي الولادتين؛ وكان ما تبقّى من تلك الليلة عليه كأنه مئةُ عام.
