mārkaṃḍeya uvāca | prabhāsādahamāyātaḥ sāṃprataṃ raghunaṃdana | svamāśramaṃ gamiṣyāmi kṣetre'traiva vyavasthitam
قال ماركاندييا: «لقد جئتُ لتوّي من برابهاسا، يا بهجة سلالة راغهو. والآن أمضي إلى أشرمي الخاص، القائم هنا بعينه في هذه البقعة المقدّسة».
Mārkaṇḍeya
Tirtha: Prabhāsa
Type: kshetra
Listener: Rāma (with Sītā and Lakṣmaṇa present)
Scene: Mārkaṇḍeya, serene and travel-worn, speaks of having come from Prabhāsa and points toward his nearby hermitage; the forest-kṣetra feels charged with pilgrimage connectivity.
Sages move through tīrthas and sanctified regions, showing that spiritual life is anchored in sacred places and disciplined residence (āśrama).
Prabhāsa is explicitly mentioned as the place from which Mārkaṇḍeya has come.
No specific rite is described; the verse provides tīrtha and kṣetra context (Prabhāsa and the local sacred region).
