अहमासं पुरा कन्या पुरे कुसुमसंज्ञिते । वीरसेनस्य शूद्रस्य वणिक्पुत्रस्य धीमतः । तेन दत्ताऽस्मि धर्मेण विवाहार्थं महात्मना
ahamāsaṃ purā kanyā pure kusumasaṃjñite | vīrasenasya śūdrasya vaṇikputrasya dhīmataḥ | tena dattā'smi dharmeṇa vivāhārthaṃ mahātmanā
«كنتُ فيما مضى فتاةً في مدينة تُدعى كُسُوما. وقد زوّجني ذلك الرجل العظيم، على وفق الدارما، إلى ڤِيراسينا الحكيم—وهو من سلالة التجّار ومن طبقة الشودرا.»
