tuṣṭo'haṃ ca mahābhāga brūhi kiṃ karavāṇi te | adeyamapi dāsyāmi yatte manasivartate
Sūrya (continuation of speech from the prior verse)
Scene: Sūrya, radiant and compassionate, addresses the brāhmaṇa with open palms, offering boons; the fire becomes a luminous altar rather than a threat, and the devotee stands humbled, hands folded.
Sincere austerity and ritual dedication, when aligned with divine order, culminate in grace and boon-bestowal.
The verse occurs within a Tīrthamāhātmya chapter, but this line itself focuses on boon-granting rather than naming the tīrtha.
No new prescription; it marks the transition from ritual performance to boon-request.
