Sūta
Tirtha: Śaṅkha-tīrtha
Type: ghat
Listener: Ṛṣayaḥ
Scene: Pilgrim at dawn immerses in a clear tīrtha named ‘Śaṅkha’, holding a conch; priests and sages witness; the sky suggests Ekādaśī sanctity.
Concentrated devotion at a highly praised tīrtha can confer comprehensive merit, especially on sacred lunar days.
Śaṅkha-tīrtha is explicitly glorified as granting the fruit of all tīrthas.
Snāna (ritual bathing) at Śaṅkha-tīrtha, particularly on Ekādaśī, with a composed mind (samāhita).
