sthāvaraṃ jaṃgamaṃ vāpi kṛtrimaṃ vā garaṃ hi tat | tadanena ca maṃtreṇa saṃspṛṣṭaṃ tvamṛtāyitam
سواء كان السُّمّ من الثابت أو من المتحرّك، أو كان مصنوعًا اصطناعًا—فإذا مسّه هذا المانترا صار كأنه «أمرتة»؛ رحيق الخلود.
Śiva (Vṛṣabhadhvaja)
Tirtha: Nāgara (tri-akṣara mantra)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A bowl of dark poison is touched/hovered over by the reciter’s hand as the mantra is spoken; the liquid turns luminous like nectar, with a faint amṛta sheen and lotus-like ripples.
Divine mantra transforms danger into wellbeing, emphasizing Śiva’s grace as alchemical—turning poison into ‘amṛta’.
The verse sits in the Hāṭakeśvara-kṣetra-centered Tīrthamāhātmya of the Nāgarakhaṇḍa.
Applying/uttering the mantra as a consecrating ‘touch’ (saṃsparśa) to counteract toxins.
