athāṣṭamyāṃ caturdaśyāṃ yo rāmacaritaṃ paṭhet | tadagre vājimedhasya sa kṛtsnaṃ labhate phalam

مَن يتلو سيرة راما المقدّسة في اليوم الثامن واليوم الرابع عشر القمريَّين، ينال كامل الثواب الذي يُنال من قربان الأشفاميدها (Aśvamedha).
