भिक्षाटनार्थं सुश्रोणि संकल्परहितः सदा । तया सत्या विना किंचित्स्त्रीमात्रं मम भामिनि । न रोचते विशालाक्षि सत्यं प्रतिवदामि ते
bhikṣāṭanārthaṃ suśroṇi saṃkalparahitaḥ sadā | tayā satyā vinā kiṃcitstrīmātraṃ mama bhāmini | na rocate viśālākṣi satyaṃ prativadāmi te
«لأجل التسيّح في طلب الصدقات، يا حسناءَ الوركين، أبقى أبدًا منزّهًا عن قصدٍ دنيوي. ومن دون تلك ساتي (Satī)، يا ذاتَ الهوى، لا تروق لي امرأةٌ مجرّد امرأة. يا واسعةَ العينين، إنما أقول لكِ الحق.»
