Tirtha: Kedāra (implied)
Type: kshetra
Scene: Śiva confers pārṣada-hood upon Indrasena; a ritual-like transformation occurs, and he is renamed Caṇḍa, standing beside Muṇḍa as a close companion among gaṇas.
Śiva’s grace can elevate a being into divine service; proximity to the Lord (pārṣadatva) is portrayed as a supreme fruit.
Kedāra, where the narrative frames Śiva’s bestowal of status and protection as part of the site’s māhātmya.
No direct ritual is stated; the verse records a boon-like appointment into Śiva’s retinue.
