शोनक उवाच । हत्वा तं तारकं संख्ये कुमारेण महात्मना । किं कृतं सुमहद्विप्र तत्सर्वं वक्तुमर्हसि
śonaka uvāca | hatvā taṃ tārakaṃ saṃkhye kumāreṇa mahātmanā | kiṃ kṛtaṃ sumahadvipra tatsarvaṃ vaktumarhasi
قال شَوْنَكَة: «بعد أن قتلَ كُمارا العظيمُ النفسِ تارَكَةَ في ساحةِ القتال، فما الأحداثُ الجليلةُ التي تَلَتْ ذلك، أيها البرهمن؟ فحدِّثْنا بكلِّ ما كان».
