anyonyasādhakau bhūtvā mahābalaparākramau | jaghnatuḥ śaktidhārābhī raṇe raṇaviśāradau

وإذ أصبحا خصمين متكافئين، عظيمين في القوة والبأس، قام هذان الماهران في الحرب بضرب أحدهما الآخر في المعركة بوابل من الرماح.
