tatheti matvā vacanaṃ mahāprabhaḥ sa jātavedāḥ parameṇa varcasā | samujjvalaṃstatra mahāprabhāvo brāhme muhūrtte hi sacopaviṣṭaḥ
Purāṇic narrator (Sūta/Lomaharṣaṇa tradition within Māheśvarakhaṇḍa)
Tirtha: Kedāra/Kedāranātha
Type: kshetra
Scene: Agni, blazing with supreme splendour, accepts Śiva’s command and sits at dawn (brahma-muhūrta) in focused posture; the sky is pre-sunrise indigo; devas watch as the ordinance begins to take effect.
Obedience to divine instruction and acting at auspicious times (brāhma-muhūrta) amplify spiritual efficacy and sacred power.
The Kedārakhaṇḍa setting foregrounds the Himalayan Kedāra sacred landscape where divine acts manifest tangibly.
An implicit emphasis is placed on brāhma-muhūrta as a favored time for spiritual acts, though no specific rite is commanded in this verse.
