ऊचुः परस्परं तत्र नानादर्शनवेदिनः । वेदवादरताः केचिदवदन्संमतेन वै

ūcuḥ parasparaṃ tatra nānādarśanavedinaḥ | vedavādaratāḥ kecidavadansaṃmatena vai

هناك تكلّم العارفون بمذاهب شتّى فيما بينهم؛ وكان بعضُهم مولعًا بالجدال في شؤون الفيدا، فيخاصمون على وفق ما يعدّه كلٌّ منهم «متَّفَقًا عليه» أو ذا سُلطةٍ معتبرة.
