स्थावरं जंगमं चैव सदृशं च मनोहरम् । जंगमं च जितं तत्र स्थावरेण तथैव च
sthāvaraṃ jaṃgamaṃ caiva sadṛśaṃ ca manoharam | jaṃgamaṃ ca jitaṃ tatra sthāvareṇa tathaiva ca
كان هناك صورٌ ساكنةٌ ومتحرّكة، متشابهةَ الهيئة، فاتنةً غايةَ الفتنة. وهناك بدا المتحرّكُ كأنه مغلوبٌ بالساكن، وكذلك الساكنُ كأنه مغلوبٌ بالمتحرّك.
