Devas
Tirtha: Kedāra/Kedāranātha
Type: kshetra
Listener: Śiva (Śambhu)
Scene: Devas praise Śiva as the universe’s sole kinsman, urging him to undertake the gods’ work; Devī (Girijā) is implied as the source from whom the destined one will arise; the scene is charged with purpose and radiance.
Divine power serves loka-saṅgraha (world-welfare); Śiva’s action enables the birth of the protector who restores dharma.
Kedārakhaṇḍa frames the episode within Kedāra’s sacred geography, presenting it as a Śaiva mahātmya setting.
No explicit ritual; the focus is theological—Śiva’s role in fulfilling the devas’ cosmic purpose.
