तस्य तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा सर्वे देवास्तमब्रुवन् । सर्वे यूयं वयं चैव असमर्था वधं प्रति । तारकस्य महाभाग एतत्कार्यं विचंत्यताम्
tasya tadvacanaṃ śrutvā sarve devāstamabruvan | sarve yūyaṃ vayaṃ caiva asamarthā vadhaṃ prati | tārakasya mahābhāga etatkāryaṃ vicaṃtyatām
فلما سمعوا قوله أجابه جميعُ الدِّيوات: «إنك ونحن، على ما نحن عليه، لا نقدر على إنجاز قتلِ تاراكا. أيها العظيم الحظ، فليُتَدبَّر هذا الأمر بتروٍّ: كيف يُمكن إتمامه».
