dāsyāmi bhikṣitaṃ cāsmai viṣmave baṭurūpiṇe | pātrībhūto hyayaṃ viṣṇuḥ sarvakarmaphaleśvaraḥ
Daitya (speaker in the dialogue)
Tirtha: Kedāra
Type: kshetra
Scene: A powerful being resolves to offer alms to Viṣṇu appearing as a young brahmacārin (batu). The contrast between divine majesty and humble disguise is central.
Charity offered with recognition of the Divine as the true receiver becomes a dharmic act linked to right understanding of karma.
The teaching occurs within Kedārakhaṇḍa’s sacred milieu; the verse emphasizes dāna and devotion more than a named location.
Dāna (giving alms/food) to Viṣṇu appearing as a baṭu (young brahmacārin).
