Listener: Atri
Scene: A vast celestial city with jeweled ramparts; Bali and the Asura host mass at the gates, weapons raised, banners flying, intent on challenging Indra.
Unchecked ambition turns into aggression; the Purāṇas frame such conflict to highlight the need for dharma-guided power.
No earthly tīrtha is directly praised; the verse describes events in heaven within the Kedāra Khaṇḍa narrative.
