घृतेन दीपयेद्दीपाञ्छिवस्य परितुष्टये । तथा फलैश्च दीपैश्च नैवेद्यैर्गंधधूपकैः

Transliteration

ghṛtena dīpayeddīpāñchivasya parituṣṭaye | tathā phalaiśca dīpaiśca naivedyairgaṃdhadhūpakaiḥ

Translation

يُستحبّ أن تُوقَد المصابيح بالسمن المصفّى (ghee) لتمام رضا شيفا؛ وكذلك تُقدَّم الثمار والمصابيح وقرابين الطعام (naivedya) والعطور والبخور.
