somena saha rāhuśca yuddhaṃ cakre sudāruṇam | rāhuṇā candradehotthamamṛtaṃ bhakṣitaṃ tadā | saṃparkādamṛsyaiva yathā rāhustathā'bhavat
Lomaharṣaṇa Sūta (deduced: Māheśvarakhaṇḍa narration to sages)
Tirtha: Kedāra/Kedārakṣetra
Type: kshetra
Scene: Rāhu, shadowy and fierce, grapples with Soma whose cool radiance spills like nectar; the moment of swallowing amṛta is shown as a luminous stream entering Rāhu, foreshadowing eclipse imagery.
Even cosmic conflicts are ultimately framed within dharma and destiny; contact with divine power (amṛta) changes beings, but does not automatically grant purity or harmony.
The verse occurs within Kedārakhaṇḍa (Kedāra sacred region) as part of a broader Śaiva mahātmya, though this specific line narrates a cosmic episode rather than a local rite.
None is stated in this verse.
