Transliteration

āśāṃ kṛtvābhyupāyātaṃ nirāśaṃ nekṣituṃ kṣamāḥ | bhavaṃti sādhavastasmājjīvitānmaraṇaṃ varam

Translation

إن الصالحين لا يطيقون النظر إلى من أتى راجيًا ثم صار يائسًا؛ فلذلك تكونُ المنيّةُ عندهم خيرًا من الحياة.
