यो मे प्रतिबलश्चापि स मे भर्ता भविष्यति । एवं च समयं श्रुत्वा बहवो दैत्यराक्षसाः
yo me pratibalaścāpi sa me bhartā bhaviṣyati | evaṃ ca samayaṃ śrutvā bahavo daityarākṣasāḥ
«ومن كان مساوِيًا لي في القوّة فسيكون زوجي». فلمّا سمعوا هذا الشرط أقبل كثيرٌ من الدانَفَة والرّاكشَسَة.
