कोटि तीर्थे त्यजेत्प्राणान्हृदि कृत्वा तु माधवम् । तस्य पार्थ चिरं स्वर्गे ह्यक्षया शाश्वती गतिः
koṭi tīrthe tyajetprāṇānhṛdi kṛtvā tu mādhavam | tasya pārtha ciraṃ svarge hyakṣayā śāśvatī gatiḥ
إنْ فارقَ المرءُ الحياةَ في كوṭيتيرثا (Koṭitīrtha) وهو يُثبّتُ ماذافا (Mādhava) في قلبه، فحينئذٍ، يا بارثا (Pārtha)، يكون له مقامٌ طويلٌ في السماء—مآلٌ لا يَبلى ولا يَفنى، أبديٌّ سرمديّ.
