तस्यां दत्तं हुतं चेष्टं सर्वमेवाक्षयं मतम् । सर्वदारिद्र्यशमनं भास्करप्रीतये मतम्

Transliteration

tasyāṃ dattaṃ hutaṃ ceṣṭaṃ sarvamevākṣayaṃ matam | sarvadāridryaśamanaṃ bhāskaraprītaye matam

Translation

في ذلك اليوم، كل ما يُعطى صدقةً، وكل ما يُقدَّم في النار المقدسة (هوما)، وكل عملٍ تعبّديّ يُؤتى به—يُعدّ كله ذا ثمرةٍ لا تنفد. ويُعتقد أنه يسكّن كل ألوان الفقر، إذ يُفعل ابتغاءَ رضا بهاسكارا (الشمس).
