catasrastu mahāśaktyaścaturdikṣu vyavasthitāḥ | siddhāṃbikā tu pūrvasyāṃ sthāpitā sā guhena ca

أُقيمت أربع قوى إلهية عظمى في الجهات الأربع. ومن بينها ثُبّتت سيدّها أمبيكا في جهة الشرق، وقد أقامها غُها (سكاندا) بنفسه.
