तथा रजस्तमश्चैव संशोध्ये सात्त्विकैर्गुणैः । अस्मादेव गुणानां च समवायादनादिजात्
tathā rajastamaścaiva saṃśodhye sāttvikairguṇaiḥ | asmādeva guṇānāṃ ca samavāyādanādijāt
وكذلك ينبغي تنقيةُ الراجس (rajas) والتامس (tamas) تنقيةً تامّة بصفات الساتّڤا (sattva). فإنّ من هذا الاقتران الذي لا بداية له ينشأ امتزاجُ الغونات (guṇa).
