अयं साधुरहो कष्टं कष्टमस्य महाजनाः । साधोर्वदंत्येतदपि पापिनां दुर्लभं त्विदम्
ayaṃ sādhuraho kaṣṭaṃ kaṣṭamasya mahājanāḥ | sādhorvadaṃtyetadapi pāpināṃ durlabhaṃ tvidam
«آه، إن هذا الرجل الصالح يتألّم—ما أشدّ ذلك!» هكذا يقول العظماء في شأن التقيّ. ومع ذلك فحتى هذا (صيتُ الصلاح) نادرٌ جدًّا بين المذنبين.
