ततस्त्वेवं वर्ततोऽस्य नंदभद्रस्य धीमतः । एकोऽभूत्तयः कष्टाद्वार्धिके सोऽप्यनश्यत
tatastvevaṃ vartato'sya naṃdabhadrasya dhīmataḥ | eko'bhūttayaḥ kaṣṭādvārdhike so'pyanaśyata
ثم إن نندبهدرَ الحكيم، إذ واصل عيشه على تلك الحال، وُلد له ابنٌ وحيد؛ غير أنّ سوء الطالع أدركه، فهلك الطفلُ وهو في سنّ الرضاعة.
