आविकं परिदध्याच्च ततो वासः सितं च वा । धातुरक्तमथो नव्यं मलिनं संधितं न च
āvikaṃ paridadhyācca tato vāsaḥ sitaṃ ca vā | dhāturaktamatho navyaṃ malinaṃ saṃdhitaṃ na ca
يلبس أولاً ثوباً من الصوف، ثم يرتدي لباساً أبيض. ويجوز أيضاً لباسٌ مصبوغٌ بالأحمر المعدني؛ لكن ليكن جديداً غير متّسخ، غير مخيطٍ ترقيعاً ولا موصولاً.
