मातः स्वसरथो पुत्रि आर्येति च वदेद्बुधः । उचछिष्टो नालभेत्किंचिन्न च सूर्यं विलोकयेत्
mātaḥ svasaratho putri āryeti ca vadedbudhaḥ | ucachiṣṭo nālabhetkiṃcinna ca sūryaṃ vilokayet
على الحكيم أن يخاطب (النساء) باحترام قائلاً: «يا أمّاه»، «يا أختاه»، «يا ابنتي»، أو «يا سيّدةً نبيلة». وإذا كان في حال ما بعد الأكل (مع بقايا وعدم طهارة)، فلا يمسّ شيئًا، ولا ينظر إلى الشمس.
