इति जपः । कुशद्वीपे कुशस्तंबो योजनानां सहस्रकः । तच्चिह्नचिह्नितं तस्मात्कुशद्वीपं ततः स्मृतम्
iti japaḥ | kuśadvīpe kuśastaṃbo yojanānāṃ sahasrakaḥ | taccihnacihnitaṃ tasmātkuśadvīpaṃ tataḥ smṛtam
هكذا تكون تلاوةُ المانترا (الجَپَا). وفي كوشَدْوِيبا غَيْضٌ من عشبِ الكوشا يمتدُّ ألفَ يوجَنا؛ ولأنه موسومٌ بتلك العلامة، ذُكِرَ لذلك باسم «كوشَدْوِيبا».
