एवं भृगुं चास्मिविसर्जयित्वा कल्लोलकोलाहलकौतुकीतटे । अथोपविश्येदमचिंतयं तदा किं कृत्यमात्मानमिवैकयोगी
evaṃ bhṛguṃ cāsmivisarjayitvā kallolakolāhalakautukītaṭe | athopaviśyedamaciṃtayaṃ tadā kiṃ kṛtyamātmānamivaikayogī
وهكذا، بعدما صرفتُ بْهْرِغو، وعلى ذلك الشاطئ العجيب بدويِّ الأمواج، جلستُ ثم تأمّلتُ: «أيُّ واجبٍ بقي لي أن أؤدّيه؟»—كيوغيٍ منفردٍ يتأمّل الآتمان، الذاتَ العليا.
