नरो हि गृहिणीहीनो अर्धदेह इति स्मृतः । यथात्मना विना देहे कार्यं किंचिन्न सिध्यति

naro hi gṛhiṇīhīno ardhadeha iti smṛtaḥ | yathātmanā vinā dehe kāryaṃ kiṃcinna sidhyati

حقًّا إن الرجل الذي لا زوجة له يُذكَر بأنه «نصفُ الجسد». وكما أن الجسد بلا الآتمان (ātman) لا ينجز عملاً البتّة، كذلك لا تكتمل واجبات الحياة في هذا النقص.
