ततो गिरिसुताकण्ठे क्षिप्तबाहुर्महेश्वरः । तपसस्तु विशेषार्थं नर्म देवीं किलाब्रवीत्

tato girisutākaṇṭhe kṣiptabāhurmaheśvaraḥ | tapasastu viśeṣārthaṃ narma devīṃ kilābravīt

ثم إنّ مهايشڤرا وضع ذراعه حول عنق الإلهة المولودة من الجبل، وخاطب ديفي بكلامٍ مازح، غير أنّه قصد به الإشارة إلى الغاية الخاصة من التَّبَس (الزهد والرياضة الروحية).
