मदन उवाच । अलीकमेतद्देवेन्द्र स हि देवस्य पोरतिः । नान्यासादयितव्यानि तेजांसि मुनरब्रवीत्
madana uvāca | alīkametaddevendra sa hi devasya poratiḥ | nānyāsādayitavyāni tejāṃsi munarabravīt
قال مَدَنا: «يا ديفيندرا، إنّ هذا عبثٌ لا طائل منه؛ فهو القرينُ الأوّل للإله (شِيفا). وقد أعلن الحكيمُ أنّ مثل هذه النيران الإلهية (القوى) لا ينبغي الاقترابُ منها ولا استفزازُها بغير ذلك».
