नारद उवाच । एवं विप्रकृता देवा महेंद्रसहितास्तदा । ययुः स्वायंभुवं दाम मर्करूपमुपाश्रिताः
nārada uvāca | evaṃ viprakṛtā devā maheṃdrasahitāstadā | yayuḥ svāyaṃbhuvaṃ dāma markarūpamupāśritāḥ
قال نارَدَة: هكذا وقد أُوذِيَتِ الآلهةُ وأُذِلَّت، ومعهم ماهِندرا (إندرا)، مضَوا حينئذٍ إلى مقام الربّ المولود بذاته، متّخذين هيئةً متنكّرةً ستراً لأنفسهم.
