dhaneśaśca dhanuḥ kruddho bibhedabahudhā śaraiḥ | vāyuścakre ca tilaśo rathaṃ vā kṣoṇikūbaram
Lomaharṣaṇa (Sūta), narrating to the sages
Scene: Kubera/Dhaneśa, stern and wrathful, fires a volley that splinters a demon’s bow; simultaneously Vāyu whirls like a cyclone, tearing Kṣoṇikūbara’s chariot into sesame-like fragments scattered across the field.
When dharma is threatened, even the cosmic powers (wealth and wind) align to dismantle adharma’s instruments.
