Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 11

त्रैलोक्यदानवान्सर्वान्दग्धुं शक्तः क्षणादहम् । दुर्जस्तारकः किं तु मुक्त्वा सप्तदिनं शिशुम्

Transliteration

trailokyadānavānsarvāndagdhuṃ śaktaḥ kṣaṇādaham | durjastārakaḥ kiṃ tu muktvā saptadinaṃ śiśum

Translation

«إنّي قادرٌ في لحظةٍ أن أُحرق جميع الدانَفَة في العوالم الثلاثة. غير أنّ تارَكا العسيرَ القهر—بعد أن أطلق الطفلَ ابنَ سبعةِ أيام—يبقى حالةً خاصة.»
