कृत्वा मानपरिग्लनिं ये मुंचंति वरा हि ते । यतामान्यतमं मत्वा त्वया मातुर्वचः कृतम्
kṛtvā mānapariglaniṃ ye muṃcaṃti varā hi te | yatāmānyatamaṃ matvā tvayā māturvacaḥ kṛtam
إنّ خيار الناس حقًّا هم الذين، وإن جُرح شرفهم، يطلقون (الخصم) مع ذلك. وقد عملتَ بقول أمّك، معتبرًا إيّاه أحقَّ الأقوال بالإجلال.
