पुनरेतत्कृतं चापि संवर्तो मन्यते यथा । अहं सन्मानितश्चेति वह्निं प्राप्याप्यगामहम्
punaretatkṛtaṃ cāpi saṃvarto manyate yathā | ahaṃ sanmānitaśceti vahniṃ prāpyāpyagāmaham
ومرةً أخرى، إذ كان سَمْوَرْتَا يظنّ أن هذا الفعل قد تمّ بسببه، فإنني—وقد قلتُ في نفسي: «لقد كُرِّمتُ كما ينبغي»—مضيتُ قُدُمًا، حتى بعد أن بلغتُ النار.
