Skanda (deduced; Kāśīkhaṇḍa commonly Skanda speaking to Agastya)
Tirtha: Kāśī / Avimukta-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Scene: A compassionate divine form in Kāśī receives devotees bowing with folded hands; dark clouds of ‘sins’ dissolve into light; afflictions (disease, fear, obstacles) retreat; in the background, the Gaṅgā ghāṭs and a luminous path rising toward svarga and then dissolving into serene mokṣa-light.
Sincere surrender to Gaṇeśa brings purification, relief from suffering, and the twin fruits of svarga and mokṣa.
Kāśī is the implied sacred setting; the promise of ‘bhuvi-mukti’ resonates with Kāśī’s reputation as a mokṣa-kṣetra.
Namaskāra (bowing) is the explicit act; the verse suggests devotional surrender rather than a detailed vrata.
