Skanda (narrating to Agastya, Kāśīkhaṇḍa convention)
Tirtha: Avimukta (Kāśī)
Type: kshetra
Scene: The king bows; a finely carved seat is offered; the brāhmaṇa sits with composed dignity; the king asks about his welfare, and the brāhmaṇa replies with calm auspicious words.
Humility and proper hospitality toward the worthy preserve dharma and harmony.
The setting remains Kāśī; the verse itself emphasizes interpersonal dharma rather than a named tīrtha.
Offering praṇāma and āsana to an honored guest—key elements of atithi-satkāra.
