अतीव भद्रं संजातं काश्यां तिष्ठत्सु तेषु हि । एकोपि भेद प्रभवेद्राज्ये राज्यांतरं विना
atīva bhadraṃ saṃjātaṃ kāśyāṃ tiṣṭhatsu teṣu hi | ekopi bheda prabhavedrājye rājyāṃtaraṃ vinā
لقد نشأت بركةٌ عظيمة حقًّا حين أقاموا في كاشي؛ إذ إن انقسامًا واحدًا قد يُنشئ «مملكةً أخرى» داخل مملكة.
Skanda (deduced, Kāśīkhaṇḍa context)
Tirtha: Kāśī
Type: kshetra
Listener: Internal Kāśīkhaṇḍa interlocutor (contextual)
Scene: A symbolic scene: Kāśī as a radiant ‘kingdom’ with a single central sanctum; divine attendants stand in harmonious ranks. In the margins, a faint shadow of ‘division’ is shown as splitting lines, quickly dissolved by Shiva’s unifying presence.
Harmony among sacred powers sustains welfare; even minor discord can fracture order, like a rival kingdom arising within a kingdom.
Kāśī, portrayed as a seat of great auspiciousness when divine forces remain united there.
No direct ritual; the verse offers a dharmic principle: preserve unity and avoid bheda (division).
